This year marks my third time attending the DepEd Division's Stakeholders' Convergence—an event that continues to inspire and ignite hope in the future of our education system.
More than a gathering, this convergence is a celebration of collaboration and shared responsibility. It reminds us that building a brighter future for our learners is not the work of a single institution—it’s a collective mission. From individuals to organizations, small businesses to large corporations, we come together with one common goal: to create an environment where students can thrive and educators can teach with dignity and purpose.
Yes, it is true that the government holds the primary responsibility for providing quality education. But as stakeholders, our role is to enhance, support, and strengthen what is already being built. We are here not to replace the system, but to uplift it—to fill in the gaps, inspire change, and ensure that no learner is left behind.
Because education is not just a basic right—it is a powerful weapon.
It is our greatest hope in addressing the pressing issues of our nation: poverty, teenage pregnancy, unemployment, inequality, and so much more. These challenges often have one common root—the lack of access to quality education. And if we truly want to transform lives, we must start by transforming how we invest in learning.
Events like this serve as a reminder that progress begins when communities unite and when passion is matched with purpose. I am honored to be part of this movement, year after year, and I will always carry the commitment to do my part, no matter how small, in shaping a better future for the generations to come.
