Yayay Sabel's 75th Birthday

Yayay doesn't know that we have prepared something special for her birthday. My staff loves Yayay so dearly. We surprised her with a cake and a birthday song that led her into tears. 

You are so loved by many, Yay!

During my younger years, Yayay was already there for me. She used to be very present in my life, especially when it comes to my dancing career. 

I remember when I was still studying in Taytung during my kindergarten she was the one in charge to bring me to school, carrying all my school stuff, gym bag, and a very large water jug! She is a superhero in my eyes. She'll wait for me every dismissal. Her face is the first I seek when I go out of our classroom, it is a relief to always know that she is just there waiting for me. The day won't end there, we'll commute our way to the ballet school and just how she is -- she'll be waiting for me.

In my grade school years, she was only present on my first grade since she wanted to rest for a bit. I was still dancing that time and she was as supportive ever since! She'll buy me make up from her own salary and even let me use some of her jewelry when my mom wouldn't allow me to wear some yet. I can really say that she is a huge part of my dancing career, she's a believer on what I can do best. 

It was more than a decade since Yayay took a break from working with us. It was when I was so frustrated that no one would be taking care of me backstage for an upcoming ballet recital that my parents decided to surprise me when I got home from rehearsals, Yayay came back! I was literally sobbing since the relief I felt when I was a kid was awoken in my heart, that Yayay will always be there for me -- she was waiting for me!

I love you, Yay! With all of my heart, thank you so much for taking very good care of me and for loving me as your own.
