Productive Day Before Heart's Day
Productive Day Before Heart's Day

It's been a while since I haven't had my morning walks, and this Thursday was the day I changed it. I woke up early and was motivated to start my day. I don't even know where I'm getting this energy boost because, on the past few nights before, I lacked sleep.
I saw how the sun had risen while the moon was staying still. I am no Science geek, but this stuff fascinates me!
I also saw my favorite flower, orchids, I didn't hesitate to take a photo of them! Booths that are selling flowers and food are being brought up already because the city's festival is coming too soon (February 19)
The day went on. When I got to my office, Lolo Brian was worried about his permits concerning his law firm operation. That is when I decided to help and went with him to the IBP Office in Bacolod City to understand the depth of his problem. When we got there, I understood how to help him better and relayed this information to his secretary for further instructions.
Lolo Brian treated me to lunch. His simple gesture to thank me for coming with him. I love my Lolo Brian so so much! I got adobo in kimchi rice with a sunny-side-up egg. It was okay, but it made me very full, I did not even finish the whole serving!
After our late lunch, we went to a flower shop to buy some flowers for Lola. We picked a white and red-themed arrangement since RED was her favorite color. When we got Lola's flower, we went directly to her and arranged it very carefully while Lolo's driver was cleaning the mausoleum. Before heading back to the office, we offered a prayer in the form of the Holy Rosary.
That's how a Productive Day Before Heart's Day should be! Or maybe just for me 😉

I just realized that God works in mysterious ways! Lola used to grow orchids in her garden and I have loved looking at them since I was a child. Maybe it was His way of reminding me to help my Lolo and offer prayer to Lola in her resting place.
Thank You, Lord! Thank You for always giving me signs that serve as a reminder in my daily life. Thank You for giving me a chance to experience the love and care both my Lolo and Lola have to offer. I am so grateful to have them in my life!
